Who is responsible for your data
The data controller is Società Agricola arl, which operates Treterre, Via Tre Terre 911, 22010 Pianello del Lario (Como), Italy.
For any question about this notice or about how we process your personal data, you can contact us at info@treterre.it or on +39 0344 86366.
The information we collect
We collect the details needed to manage your booking and your stay — such as your name, contact details, stay dates, the number and names of guests, payment information and any requests or preferences you share with us.
If you use our contact or enquiry forms, we receive the details you enter. Emails or phone calls may be kept so that we can handle your request properly.
How and why we use it
We use the information we collect to manage your reservation, prepare for your arrival, provide the services you ask for and communicate with you about your stay.
We process your data on the basis of the performance of our contract, our legal obligations (such as guest registration and tax requirements), our legitimate interest in running the property properly and, where necessary, your consent.
We will only send you communications about offers or news with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
Cookies and analytics
This website is designed to be simple and lightweight. We do not use advertising cookies, profiling tools, third-party analytics or social-media tracking.
Any cookies that are present are strictly necessary for the site to work. The online booking system is run by an external provider on its own dedicated secure pages, which may set their own cookies under their privacy notice.
Who we share it with
We share your data only where it is needed to provide your stay and manage the services you ask for: with our booking and payment system providers and with the provider that hosts our website.
We may disclose information where the law requires it, for example the guest registration required under Italian law.
We do not sell your data or share it for third-party marketing.
How long we keep it
We keep the data relating to your booking and our correspondence for as long as needed to manage your stay and to meet our administrative, accounting and tax obligations.
Afterwards, the data is deleted or made anonymous in line with applicable law.
Payment details are handled by our payment providers and are not kept by us beyond what is necessary.
Where your data is processed
The website and booking system may use technical infrastructure run by external providers. Some processing may therefore take place on servers located outside Italy.
Where data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, we use providers that guarantee appropriate protection measures under the GDPR.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can request access to your personal data, its correction or deletion, the restriction of processing, object to certain uses, or request the portability of your data.
Where processing is based on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time.
To exercise your rights, you can contact us at info@treterre.it. We will respond within the time the law allows.
Contact and complaints
If you have any concern about how we handle your data, please contact us directly so that we can offer clarification or help.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, the Italian data protection authority.
We may update this notice from time to time. The last-updated date shows the most recent version.
