House and grounds
Treterre extends over 3 acres of woodland and cultivated land, in a setting where nature and carefully tended spaces live in harmony.
Our home grew out of a simple, mindful way of living — the same one we hope to share through our hospitality. Every space is designed to welcome our guests with warmth, offering a quiet, well-kept and authentic place to feel at home.
From the green spaces to the areas set aside for relaxation, every detail reflects our care for well-being and the pleasure of experiencing Treterre.
Farm and shop
At Treterre, our relationship with the land is part of everyday life. On our grounds we grow organic vegetables, fruit, aromatic herbs and berries, and we tend olive trees from which comes our DOP Laghi Lombardi - Lario extra virgin olive oil.
What we grow finds its way into the Osteria's kitchen and takes shape in handmade products, also available in our Bottega Treterre shop. From homemade jams and preserves to our DOP extra virgin olive oil, from aromatic herbs to seasonal produce, every creation is born of care for the raw ingredient and a wish to make the most of what our land gives us.
We follow every stage with care, from growing to preparation, to offer our guests and everyone who visits our shop produce that is genuine, seasonal and made with passion.
Lake Como
Treterre is in Pianello del Lario, on the western shore of Lake Como — an ideal starting point for discovering the villages, landscapes and traditions of the area.
Just a few minutes from Treterre, Menaggio is the perfect place to set out and explore the lake, with ferries reaching some of its most enchanting spots, such as Bellagio, Varenna and the historic villas that overlook its shores.
Between beaches, scenic trails, walks through olive groves and woodland, water sports and villages steeped in history, every day offers a different way to experience Lake Como. Treterre's location also makes it easy to reach Lake Lugano and the Swiss border, to discover an even wider area full of charm.
